When should you utilize urgent care services?
Urgent care departments are same-day clinics that can handle a variety of conditions that need to be treated right away but are not an emergency.
If you believe you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately.
COVID-19
Call before arriving at an urgent care
Please call before arriving at an urgent care clinic if you suspect you are COVID-19 positive or want to be tested. You may be directed to an alternative location or virtual clinic.
Precautions
Please wear a cotton mask to protect others regardless of whether or not you have COVID-19 symptoms.
Dedicated testing sites
The local department of health has setup COVID-19 testing locations. You do not need to visit a DEMO urgent care to be tested.
Some symptoms that can be treated at the "Demo" urgent care include:
Broken bones
Closed fractures can be treated at the "Demo" urgent care clinic. Open fractures or those showing signs of internal bleeding should be treated in the "Demo" Emergency Department.
Chest pain
If you are experiencing chest pain, "Demo" Health System, recommends you immediately go to the urgent care or emergency room, whichever is closer.
